About the Roundtable
The New York Hedge Fund Roundtable developed out of a series of discussions led by Stanley Goldstein and others in the alternative investment space over the past five years. Today, the membership list has grown to over 1200 people and attendance at each breakfast meeting is limited to 40-50 people, to enable effective best practice sharing, peer information exchange and social networking.
Past speakers include Whitney Tilson—T2 Partners, Marcy Engel--Eton Park, and Senator Chris Dodd.
The New York Hedge Fund Roundtable was founded on three governing principles:
- Continuously educating roundtable members from the investing & hedge fund worlds on relevant industry topics & forecasts.
- Initiating Best Practices & knowledge transfer to the broader hedge fund world, allowing members to leverage peer information exchange and positively affecting both the profession and others
- Creating an environment to support social networking, allowing members to effectively engage with peers while helping them build their own careers & businesses.
